A&L’s 7th single Tell Me When it’s Over bridges the gap between today’s Pop and Rock genres. With a melody that will make you sing, killer guitar riffs and a bass line that will make you dance. Pure Pop Rock!
“We need more guitar on mainstream radio” says Anthony Casuccio, the “A” in A&L. “That’s our goal!” Casuccio the master button pusher said that this song took an unusual production approach. “Normally when you record you start with the drums. I was writing this song and loved the guitar sound that I was working with so I kept them. We recorded everything around the initial guitars.”
This gave drummer Rich Smith a challenge when recording drums for Tell Me When it’s Over. “Typically when I approach an A&L track, I look to be powerful, execute my role, and give as much energy to the song as possible. Tell me was particularly liberating because while I still worked to deliver a groove that everyone can move to, I allowed myself to be that 16 year old in my parents garage, just hitting hard and with so much passion and purpose. This is especially pronounced in the pre-chorus drum break, where I found my inner Keith Moon.” Says Smith.
Lana’s (the L in A&L) powerful voice and Matt Sunick’s bass playing round out the track giving it a catchy Pop feel and motion that pulls you in making even the shyest soul want to move their feet and start singing.

Anthony’s received RIAA certified gold records for his production work. Lana is an award winning vocalist who has been a long-time force on the NY music scene and voice to many jingles on radio and television. Adding to the success of A&L is Rich Smith who has been behind the drum kit since A&L’s 3rd release and Matt Sunick whose bass playing gives A&L that groove they have been striving for.
